What is Transpersonal Therapy?

Transpersonal therapy is aimed at people who face challenges in life, seek full emotional well-being, the development of inner resources to overcome obstacles, the enhancement of personal traits and talents, the experience of spirituality, the unfolding of deep values and the expansion of self-awareness.

 

It is about guiding people in their integral development through tools of self-awareness, contemplative practices and mindfulness, conscious listening, loving gaze and the state of presence. This path of growth fosters self-discovery and self-compassion. At the same time, it allows the person to take ownership of his or her life process and to develop a broad and deep look at the issues of everyday life. All this in a safe, welcoming and confidential space.

I offer workshops on different topics:

 

  • Journey to self-compassion:

A workshop that invites you to get to know yourself better and begin to embrace all that you are. With a kind and loving gaze, you delve into your inner world of emotions, beliefs, inner critics, lights, shadows and more. This allows you to better understand and accept your beautifully-imperfect human nature. The workshop provides you with tools to apply in your daily life to develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Among the activities: meditations, visualisations, body movement exercises, moments to reflect, draw, write and share.

 

  • My self-care promise:

A workshop that reminds us of the importance of pausing and opting to take care of ourselves in this fast-paced and highly-demanding society we live in. It will allow you to understand the root of your self-neglect, build a deeper connection with yourself and take home practical wisdom nuggets and tips to apply in your daily life. Among the activities: meditations, visualisations, body movement exercises, moments to reflect, draw, write and share.


 

I am a certified Hatha and Ashtanga yoga instructor (RYT200) from an official yoga school in Varkala, India. I have always been passionate about working with the body, staying active and healthy. I have been practicing yoga for over 7 years.

My yoga classes are a combination of mindful and powerful movements, stillness, breathing, a compassionate connection with ourselves, little self-care wisdom nuggets and meditations. It's an all-encompassing approach that I have developed influenced by my therapy background and personal experience. I have experienced the benefits of yoga first-hand — a beautiful healing process of the mind, body and soul.


 

From this humanity, where both pain and love abound, I accompany you in your own process of

growth and well-being. I will be your guide along the journey that you yourself take. There, you will open your heart to new understandings and take the reins of your own life as the adult you are. I generate spaces of listening and love for those who are on their own path of or self-discovery.

What brings you here?

 

I kindly offer you this short seven-minute-long meditation for you to pause, connect and reflect on a couple of questions. 

Who Am I?

I am Spanish and Costa Rican. Since I moved out of Switzerland, where I was born, I have lived in 11 countries. My last stop is Poland, where I have spent the last five years immersing myself in the culture and learning Polish.

 

I graduated from the Spanish School of Transpersonal Therapy in Madrid and am a certified yoga instructor through the Vrinda School of Yoga in India. As a transpersonal therapist and a yoga instructor, I am passionate about finding the things that bring us love and balance in life. I love staying active, practicing sports and am also treading my own path towards a more conscious, compassionate and minimalist lifestyle.

Yoga has been a big part of my life as I have accompanied my mom in her own journey as a yoga teacher for the last 20 years; organising different sessions, workshops and retreats in different corners of the world.  A true gift.

 

Moving and traveling as a child has been a wonderful life experience for me. But at some point in my life, I decided to take a break to gather all the scattered pieces of my own identity. The time had come to ask myself: Who am I? This discovery allows me today to generate spaces of listening and love for those who are on their own path of self-discovery. In my journey I have discovered that life, like human beings, is imperfect and impermanent. As you go through its cycles you may fall several times, but thanks to that you will get up stronger and wiser.
